Snow Striders
For children in 4th grade and younger.
Sundays in January,
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Children age 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult while skiing. Focus is on FUN and learning to ski.
Final meeting is a bonfire cookout and special activities. We have 30 pairs of skis, boots and poles to be used free of charge, for those who don’t have equipment, on a first come, first served basis. $5 for club members, $10 for non-members. To register, call Todd Craig @ 355-8080
Note from Todd Craig – Coordinator of the Snow Striders (children 9 and under) “We had 37 kids come out on Sunday, January 6th and another 10 or so that didn't make it! I thought this was a great turnout despite the sloppy damp weather. We had a few good volunteer helpers (Jay Sween, Eric Koch, Tom McDonald, Scott Anderson, Paula Barnes, Sarah and I). The kids had a blast! It's great to see this much interest in all the youth programs. Think Snow!!
